The Hemp Industry is now more threatened at the federal level than ever before. After months of endless propaganda campaigns, oppositional lobbying from alcohol and marijuana corporations, and now a fierce congressional campaign to ban hemp products, it is easy to understand why your voice matters now more than ever.

The American Healthy Alternatives Association & Texas Hemp Business Council has worked with many State & Federal advocacy groups in the last few weeks to fight back against these narratives, but after a meeting on Sunday with Senator Rand Paul several industry leaders all agree the time for action is NOW.

Please note – if a legislator tells you that they are only concerned with constituents in their state, know that is not true. The senate (and house) appropriations committees' make funding decisions for the ENTIRE country, not just whatever their home state is. Kindly remind them of this fact if you have the opportunity to speak to someone or receive an email response.
